What are the issues you found more innovative in reading Bouman et al. (2007)?
Bouman et
al. present a conceptual model as well as a design framework to describe and
explore the issue of social software design.
How to Design
a software with these characteristics : all issues of enabling practice, mimicking reality,
building identity and actualizing self, to motivate sociality in software
tools. Bouman et al. proposed one framework

Do you understand Wenger's (1998) claim that "Sociality cannot be designed;
it can only be designed for"?
Wegner’s mentions that
sociality cannot be designed but yes It’s possible to designed and generate the
resources to achieve the sociality. Because a lot of people look to sociale
through many tools simple or very advanced from ones the designed perspective.
The perspective of a designer
is important to study all the social phenomena
in software for design new tools for better interaction between the
group of users.

System Theory sources they cite?
No I don’t know many
sources, it’s something new for me to study the sociality in some tools.

Friendster is a
social gaming site, where users share everything related to video games.
It’s a short blog for
web logs, it is a kind of on line journal for a particular person. The owner
will post a message periodically, allowing others to comment on it.
It’s a blog of news where
the users share all relevant about
different topics.
It’s a blog where the
owner shares his opinion or something else.
Alternet is a site where publishes
a combination of policy critiques, investigative reports and analysis,
grassroots success stories, and personal narratives are published.
Blogs, short for web logs, they are like online journals for a particular
person
It’s a blog where one
user shares different information that is relevant for him.
