Today social networks are an important part of
our life, sometimes though we refuse to adopt such technology trends we are
immersed in them, a very important factor is to have peace of mind that our
private life is not exposed to anyone for knowledge of this fear. So either by
the evidence something we are to a certain group of people or just not wanting
to show our family albums to people who do not know .. we ask the question, is
reliable a website to expose my family ties?, More focused ways, is Facebook a
safe place I can trust?
In reading we see that
the basic factors to trust a website is the belief and confidence, we can
divide the interpersonal and technological confidence, the belief is primary,
or rather we want to believe that facebook is a formal, that all our data and information
will be stored discreetly and never will be used against us or to be released.
I think the use of
social networks varies from our personality, there are people who only use it
for the most essential and most discreet way or just because they belong to a
group in which all members of a family or of a living classes are registered
and need to use the medium, however other people like to comment on where they
are, they do at that time and they will do in the next hour, they like to eat
and what time it will go to sleep, interpersonal trust is based on this
principle, the confidence of whom we read and how I favored or not the fact
that others know.
Technological
confidence tells us how we feel comfortable and safe using this website, since
access to it as well as the benefits of the system.
Studies show that
university students are more adept at current facebook, sounds logical to be a
portion of society concerns, they can create a personal profile, which happens
also is that many of them take the ineraccion of "face" as a person
and not as a technological site.
A question I ask
myself every day I interact with facebook is, I really think that the
reliability clauses are real and remain at the sole discretion? Or just
something in what I believe in order to interact in this electronic means, the
researchers confirm that there really is trusted by users in the statement
"I trust my personal information will be used for any other
purpose." This statement reflects the integrity of Facebook in terms of
safeguarding private information, an attribute to be associated with people.
Other researchers find that phrases like "I feel that this website is
honest."
Taking this into account made by experts found that young people really believe and trust in Facebook more than any social network, something we should contemplate and analyze to take into account when choosing a network that we want to belong.
